As a NAPIT member you will want to ensure you have a level of protection that not only meets your NAPIT membership requirements, but also provides you with the necessary cover for your specific work.
Whilst you could buy an off the shelf policy to cover the basics, it’s important to ask yourself whether you know what you are covered for? After all, the worst time to discover you are not properly insured is when you need to make a claim.
We’ve worked hard to understand the most common insurance needs faced by NAPIT contractors. Using this knowledge we have helped develop a comprehensive package insurance policy. This ensures that members have access to a package of covers that goes beyond the standard levels of protection.
Our package insurance policies are flexible and can be tailored to include various trades and their required cover limits. Covers range across a host of different areas which are required by the day-to-day activities of most contractors, including:
For policies taken out prior to 1 May 2019, download the NAPIT Electrical Contractors Policy Wording (pdf) underwritten by Hiscox.
For policies taken out after 1 May 2019, download the NAPIT Electrical Contractors Policy Wording (pdf) underwritten by AXA.
